Helene Burke is a Licensed Professional Counselor focused on solution-oriented therapies to assist individuals in thriving beyond the challenges of Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Self-acceptance, Coping skill development, Work stress, and Co-Occurring Disorders.
Helene earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She has assisted clients with family, parenting, emotional and behavioral issues since 1997 by focusing on increasing coping skill, communication skills, social skills and promoting a healthy secure family unit where the risks of drug and alcohol abuse is decreased. She provided individual and family counseling to military members and their families, children and parents in the foster care system, families in the community setting, as well as, the delivery of on-line and telephonic counseling for an International Employee Assistance company.
Helene engages modalities including Mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address and engage collaboratively with clients to develop their individual plan for a life worth living.
