About Dr. Roth
Therapy as a partnership,
built around your whole life
Dr. Amy Roth is a Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She works with children and their caregivers, adults, couples, families, and college students — bringing a thoughtful, individualized approach to each person she sees. Dr. Roth has particular expertise in the challenges that come with life transitions, parenting, blended and stepfamily dynamics, and the unique stressors faced by military families.
What distinguishes Dr. Roth's work is her genuine attentiveness to the full context of a person's life. She takes into account each client's experiences, culture, values, relationships, and belief system before shaping how she works with them. Her interventions are grounded in each individual's strengths, and her goal is always to help clients move toward more fulfilling lives and relationships — not just symptom reduction.
Dr. Roth's approach is collaborative and non-judgmental. She believes that therapy works best when clients feel genuinely safe and understood, and she prioritizes building that kind of trust from the very first session. She has also conducted research and lectures on how military deployment affects family functioning — an area of both professional and personal significance to her work.
"Therapy is a collaborative process. I take the time to understand your life, your values, and your goals — so that what we do together actually fits."
