Betty brings over 30 years of experience providing counseling and therapy to individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. She has worked with adults of all ages, races, and cultural backgrounds, fostering a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported in addressing their challenges and overcoming barriers to change.
Betty takes an integrative and client-centered approach, tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual. She specializes in trauma treatment—she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—as well as depression, anxiety, couples therapy, relationship issues, parenting, adult autism, older adults, people facing serious medical conditions, and the loved ones of individuals struggling with substance use.
