Carly Kleiman is a Licensed Professional Counselor that works with individuals, families and groups struggling to manage symptoms related to trauma as well as depression, anxiety, substance abuse and difficulties adjusting to life transitions. She has worked with those diagnosed with ADHD and learning disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, and those with emotion regulation difficulties.
Carly is passionate about working with adolescents and adults. She relies on providing trauma-informed care and draws on interventions from different modalities including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), social-skills training, Crisis Management and Safety Planning, and Motivational Interviewing to help her clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
Carly has experience working with individuals of all ages and levels of functioning. She has worked with seniors, adults with severe and persistent mental illness and children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional difficulties. Her training has included a variety of settings such as residential programs, in-home care, therapeutic camp, a school setting, and an outpatient program.
