About Emily
Collaborative, solution-focused care
for children, teens, and adults
Emily Lee is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Professional Clinical Counseling from La Salle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University. She works with children, teens, and adults across a wide range of mental health concerns, drawing on experience in a variety of outpatient mental health settings. Her background in early education deepens her understanding of the environments and relationships that shape younger clients' lives, and informs how she collaborates with families and school systems as part of the therapeutic process.
Emily's approach is goal-oriented and strengths-based, guided by her training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Rather than centering on what has gone wrong, SFBT focuses on what is already working, what clients want their lives to look like, and how to build practical, meaningful pathways toward those goals. She brings a genuinely affirming presence to her work, including experience with gender affirming care, and creates a space where clients of all identities and backgrounds feel welcomed and understood.
Good therapy begins with understanding what each person is working toward. The goal is to build on existing strengths, identify real possibilities, and help each client move closer to the life they want to be living.
Her foundation in early education and experience across outpatient settings means Emily brings practical perspective to working with younger clients and their families, as well as a collaborative instinct that extends to school teams and other support systems. That same spirit of collaboration shapes her work with adult clients, where she prioritizes building a genuine working partnership from the very beginning.
