About Heather
Person-centered, culturally responsive care
for children, adolescents, and adults
Heather Haas is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Delaware Valley University. She works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, acute stress disorder, ADHD, ASD, adjustment disorder, and trauma.
At the heart of Heather's practice is a commitment to social justice community counseling, bringing genuine attentiveness to the cultural, systemic, and personal contexts that shape each person's experience. She has a particular focus on individuals and families from traditionally marginalized communities, and approaches every therapeutic relationship with the belief that each person deserves a space where they feel truly seen, respected, and understood.
Heather's therapeutic style blends person-centered values with evidence-based techniques drawn from cognitive behavioral, feminist, and multicultural therapy frameworks. She believes that the therapeutic alliance itself is one of the most powerful forces for change, and she prioritizes building that foundation of trust from the very first session.
When every person feels genuinely seen, respected, and understood, the work of healing becomes possible. That foundation of trust is where meaningful change begins.
