Compassionate, strength-based care
for adults at every stage of life

Kristin Tornetta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and her Master's degree from Fordham University. She brings a client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed lens to her clinical work, supporting individuals as they build self-awareness, develop emotional regulation skills, and create healthier coping strategies for the challenges they face.

Kristin has worked across a diverse range of settings, including several years supporting women in postpartum recovery and pregnant women navigating addiction, as well as more than four years providing school-based mental health services to students and families. In school settings, she has worked closely with students on IEP and 504 plans and with young adults preparing for the transition out of high school, as well as individuals facing housing instability, mental health crises, and chronic school attendance challenges.

Everyone can benefit from therapy. The goal is to create a compassionate, welcoming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful change.

In her individual therapy practice at Liv Associates, Kristin works with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, substance use challenges, and co-occurring disorders. Her approach focuses on validating what clients are going through while building concrete, actionable steps forward. She specializes in women's mental health and is committed to meeting each person where they are with warmth, honesty, and evidence-based care.
