About Dr. Parker
Strength-based, eclectic care
across children, adults, and seniors
Dr. Nina Parker is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a doctoral degree and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology, both from Immaculata University. With more than 20 years of clinical experience spanning outpatient clinics, private practice, residential facilities, and a treatment foster care program, she brings a depth and versatility to her work that reflects genuine immersion across the full range of settings where people seek mental health support. She currently serves as the Executive Director of a large behavioral health program and as an evaluating psychologist for children's Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS).
Dr. Parker's therapeutic approach is eclectic, strength-based, and firmly client-centered, grounded in a fundamental belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and wellness. She draws from a wide range of evidence-based frameworks, carefully tailoring each treatment plan to the individual and taking time to educate both clients and their families about diagnoses and treatment options, so that the work ahead is meaningful, supportive, and clinically responsible.
"Everyone has the capacity for growth and wellness, and a strong therapeutic relationship is critical in the success of any treatment."
Dr. Parker works with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and brings significant clinical experience with adults who have cognitive and developmental disabilities. Whether a client is navigating grief, adjusting to a new life chapter, managing the weight of a chronic illness, or working through anxiety or depression that has begun to shape their daily life, she brings the same commitment to building a therapeutic relationship that is safe, collaborative, and genuinely respectful of each person's strengths and capacity for change.
