Title: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Welcome! I’m Sarah Prince, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for helping individuals achieve personal goals and identify strengths and values to help navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with feeling stuck and are looking to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety (including OCD and phobias), trauma, stress, ADHD, life transitions, and body image concerns. I am experienced in supporting individuals navigating life-stage challenges, academic and career stress, and relationship difficulties.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Health from Muhlenberg College

Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Eastern University

Professional Experience:
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing symptoms related to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety (including OCD and phobias)
  • Trauma and stress
  • ADHD
  • Life transitions
  • Body image concerns
  • Academic and career stress
  • Relationship difficulties

Therapeutic Approach:
I use a collaborative and integrative approach to help clients meet their personal goals and navigate life’s challenges.

My approaches include:

1.     Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Developing healthier thinking patterns to alleviate distressing emotions.

2.     Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Teaching emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness to manage emotions and improve quality of life.

3.     Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping clients accept their thoughts and feelings while committing to behaviors that align with their values.

4.     Internal Family Systems (IFS): Integrating different parts of oneself for self-understanding and growth.

5.     Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): Treating anxiety disorders by preventing compulsive behaviors.

Providing trauma-informed care is important to me, as it helps recognize and address behaviors that may have been useful in overwhelming situations but may no longer be effective.
